Welcome to Posture Wise, the new home of Cleveland Rolfing®.

Offering sessions in Cleveland (Warrensville Heights/480/271/Emery) & Columbus (Clintonville), Posture Wise is your guide to growing wise with your movement and fascia, for life.

I’m Leah Rachocki, a seasoned Rolf® Structural & Movement Integration practitioner and your Posture Wise guide. My practice began in Alaska in 2004, and I returned to Ohio in 2015 with a wealth of experience and expertise to share with my home state.

Today, I offer private sessions, small group classes, and Posture Wise Hikes in Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio.

Each session is unique, every first session with a new client meets the new client, not an idea of what a first Rolfing®session ‘should’ be. I successfully team with clients who are curious and willing to tune in to their body’s natural non-verbal communication. The results that clients experience between sessions and over the long term over a series of sessions, are what Ida Rolf described as individual evolution.

Clients don’t undress for Posture Wise sessions. Your body tracks my touch through your clothing with far less nervous system engagement, which is why Posture Wise sessions leave clients feeling good, with no pain or ‘recovery’ time. Integration is part of every session at Posture Wise. And regardless of what you heard about Rolfing®, Posture Wise sessions have never been painful.

  • Rolfing* SI

Rolfing SI addresses fascial patterns that limit movement. Leah uses intuitive and gentle touch to free every layer of fascia coherently, so you can integrate the changes without thinking.

  • Rolf* Movement

Rolf Movement guides clients to practical movement options by refining walking postures, seated and sleeping postures. Rolf Movement facilitates the client’s natural capacity to notice sensation.

  • Return to Rolfing*

Where you Rolfed years ago, and told that after ten sessions, you are ‘done’? We know better today! As long as we live in gravity, we need Rolfing to bring ease to the fascia, and guidance to refine movemen habits.

  • Women's Health

Women change shape throughout our lives. Rolfing eases natural life transitions with expert painless fascial work and practical movement education for your changing body. Pregnancy prep, duration and recovery, are especially suited to Rolfing.

  • Surgery Prep & Recovery

Surgery changes the fascial network, causing scar tisue and tightening the fascia around organs, tubes, muscles. Rolfing brings coherence and ease to the fascia, helping the surgeon. Afterwards, Rolfing eases the fascial response to surgery, quickening recovey and reducing scar tissue.

  • Impact & Crush Injuries

Impacts from sports, car accidents, horseback riding, etc stiffens fascia. Crush injuries have often ovelooked consequences that Rolfing is uniquely able to address, painlessly.

Posture is our non-verbal signature in movement. Is your posture easy and comfortable?

As babies and children, we each learned to move and respond to others by mimicking the adults around us.

Posture Wise guides clients to update outdated movement habits by freeing fascial strains with gentle touch, and facilitating new movement patterns with support from gravity.

Client Experiences

  • I'm in even less pain today, I feel like my body just keeps settling more into it.... slowly but surely. I can feel the absolute truth of how continuing to work this way will bring about so much healing. Honestly, the best way I can describe the experience is to say that the messages my body has been sending with all of this felt HEARD. Validated. It felt like going to a counselor who validates your deep truths, but like it happened in the subtle body.... like my body felt heard, finally. <3 I am so grateful.

  • As a 70 year old with knees that were damaged early in life, my body got tighter and very constricted. I was bending forward, looking down as I walked. I couldn’t pick up and hold my two year old granddaughter. It was hard to carry groceries into the house. I developed an obvious limp. Then I discovered a Rolfing practitioner who knew what she was doing. She knew how to support my body’s own healing wisdom. By simply and gently touching my muscles and my joints that needed help, she reopened the communication from my toes all the way up to my brain. Her touch reassured my brain that it could go back to trusting the tissues to support me safely. My body works!! It doesn’t ache by the end of the day! I feel free to move and lift and carry- yes- my (now) three-year-old granddaughter, who loves running and jumping up into my arms.

  • I came to Leah in pain and overwhelmed by my advancing scoliosis that was causing a rib to push into my lung. I had no idea what to expect other than a few people telling me Rolfing is painful, but I was in so much pain already, that prospect didn’t worry me. There was no need to worry, the work Leah does is gentle, intuitive, and targeted. The only thing I’ve felt is a sense of relief as my body has come into better alignment.
